YYC hopes to foster imperative lifelong skills through gymnastics, stunting, dance, and more while building confidence and team bonding!

Lil’ Sluggers Baseball - Ages 3 & 4

Lil’ Sluggers is designed to prepare boys & girls ages 3 & 4 for their journey into organized team play. Our goal is to help our young athletes improve and continue to develop social and physical skills in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Lil’ Sluggers will help build confidence, reinforce team play, and foster a love for the game. Having FUN, building confidence, learning baseball, in that order. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children for some family fun. A baseball glove and sneakers or cleats are required. All other equipment is provided.

This 5th & 6th Grade Co-Op Lacrosse Program is designed to help young athletes build strong fundamentals while growing their love for the game. Teams will practice twice each week, with each session focusing on skill development, game understanding, and confidence-building.

During practices, players will work on essential lacrosse techniques, including throwing, catching, cradling, ground balls, positioning, and shooting, while also learning the official rules of the game. Coaches emphasize proper form, teamwork, and sportsmanship to ensure every athlete progresses at their own pace.

The Maine Youth Lacrosse League (MEYL) organizes the official game schedule, which will be released in late March/early April. Most games will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays, though there may be occasional weekday matchups throughout the season.

This co-op program will not only develop strong lacrosse players but also promote teamwork, confidence, and a positive athletic experience for athletes from both communities. It’s a great opportunity for players to learn, grow, and compete in a supportive and fun environment.

Our Track & Field Program for 3rd-8th graders is designed to build confidence, athletic skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of movement. Participants will learn the fundamentals of running, jumping, and throwing in a positive and encouraging environment that emphasizes effort, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
The program will help athletes improve speed, coordination, endurance, agility, and overall fitness through structured practices, skill development, and friendly competition in a fun and supportive environment. Open to all ability levels.

Oceanside Hoop Camp offers a fast-paced, fun, and pressure-free learning environment where players develop fundamental skills and game-time decision-making. Through small-group instruction and team activities, campers will improve individual skills while building confidence and self-esteem, regardless of current ability level. Our goal is to foster both skill development and a genuine love of the game. Campers should bring a positive attitude, plenty of water, sunscreen, sneakers, and lunch. Camp Director, Lani Silversides brings years of experience and strong instructional basketball knowledge. Lani is joined by former and current high school players, as well as high school and middle school coaches. The entire Oceanside coaching staff shares a love for the game and a commitment to helping each camper grow.

York, Maine native and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Curry College, Phil Alibrandi offers an engaging basketball camp for boys and girls aged 7-15. The camp is designed to help young athletes improve their basketball skills, including drills and exercises that target fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. The camp also emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership, providing campers with a well-rounded basketball education. Coach Alibrandi and his team of experienced coaches and players create a supportive environment where young athletes can learn and grow both on and off the court. This basketball camp is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game in a FUN and inclusive setting. This camp is for players of all skill levels!

Join us for a Family Pickleball Clinic, a fun, beginner-friendly experience for all ages! This one-week camp for players in grades 2-8 is designed to help each player to their own personal next level. Players will develop dribbling, passing, defending, and shooting skills, along with key team concepts. Instruction will be led by current York boys and girls high school soccer players under the supervision of York Girls Varsity Coach, Nick Hanlon. Players will leave camp with tools that, with continued practice, can help take their game to the next level! Players will be divided by grade level to ensure appropriate instruction and competition. Seacoast United Half Day Camp program is a fantastic way for your child to be introduced to SUSC’s fun developmental approach to the game. Our professional, dedicated, full-time coaching staff will offer sessions full of fun technical challenges and game play. This allows players to develop a love for the game while developing important skills. Seacoast United’s Summer Skills Half Day Soccer Camp appropriately challenges in a fun learning environment. This program will focus on individual skills which are crucial to all players’ confidence with the ball. These classes will also incorporate their skill work into scrimmage play allowing all players a chance to recognize how their confidence with the ball relates to game play situations and success.

Learn to surf with the Liquid Dreams surf team. Your instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of surfing.  They will cover paddling, wave selection, how to stand and how to ride the waves. Surfing etiquette, ocean awareness, and beach safety will also be discussed. Classes will be in the evenings from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the surfing area at Long Sands Beach. Please be sure to arrive by 4:45pm. All equipment and supplies will be provided  by Liquid Dreams Surf Shop, however, if you own your own board, feel free to bring it to class. Classes are limited, so be sure to sign up now!

Surfing - Ride the Five! - Ages 8-15

Surf Camp – Ride the Five! - Ages 8-15

Liquid Dreams is offering “Ride the 5” surf camp, once again, for kids ages 8 to 15! This camp is designed to teach all 5 wave and watercraft activities LDS has to offer: surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, stand up paddling, and body surfing... all in 5 days!

Each day, the Ride the 5 camp begins at 10:00am at our Long Sands location in York, where students will be equipped with wetsuits and surfboards for a 1-2-hour morning surf lesson. Following the lesson, the students will break for lunch, and maybe a sandcastle or two. After lunch, students will learn another water activity that best fits the conditions that day. Ride the 5 camp will break at 3:00pm every day, with student pickup at 3:15pm. Students should bring lunch, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen. If you own your own board or wetsuit, feel free to bring it to class.

The tennis program where kids play while they learn! This program is for brand-new, beginner, or returning novice youth players. Led by a USTA-approved coach, we focus on FUN and learning the basics. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker.

All players, in their first session, receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet, and a ball!

This program offers beginners the chance to learn field hockey fundamentals, while giving experienced players an opportunity to refine their skills and participate in friendly scrimmages in the Southern Maine Recreational Field Hockey League. Practices will focus on learning the rules, improving ball and stick handling, passing and receiving, and understanding field positioning. All participants will receive a York Field Hockey Team T-shirt.
