This program will introduce you to patient assessment, treatment, and management of injuries in backcountry conditions. You will learn to improvise splints and litters, stop bleeding, and other potentially lifesaving skills.

June 6th, Saturday
National Trails Day
Volunteer to help replace a boardwalk and learn about the Adopt-A-Trail program! Project location will involve hiking up to 1.5 miles, total. Work includes demolition, moving heavy planks, and installing new decking. No experience necessary!

July 11th, Saturday
Invasive Species Management
The focus of the day is invasive plant education and hands-on removal of buckthorn in a sensitive wetland habitat. Volunteers will hand-pull and use tools to uproot plants.

Adopt-A-Trail
The Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region depends upon volunteers to help maintain 15 miles of popular trails. Adopters take responsibility for stewardship of a specific trail.
