Art Club with Mrs. Kochka

Let’s create! Art Club artists will use a variety of art supplies to create original works of art. We will explore 2D and 3D materials, as well as artistic processes and techniques. The nature of this art club will be “Open Studio” style, where artists choose materials to create their own unique vision. Art Club is available to enrolled kindergarteners and first grade students at Village Elementary who love art and want to spend more time in the art studio creating. Bring a snack and a creative spirit!

Art Camp – Lets Create! - Incoming 1st & 2nd Graders

Ready, set, create! In Art Camp, artists will use a variety of materials to create masterpieces. We will explore 2D and 3D materials and use paint, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed-media techniques. An important part of being an artist is finding inspiration in the world around you, so artists will have time to be playful and enjoy being in a creative environment together. Artists will take home their finished pieces. This camp is for everyone who loves art!
Please bring, snacks and plenty to drink.

Sing Together Women & Girls - Ages 10-100+

This gathering is for mothers and daughters, aunts and nieces, grandmothers and granddaughters, family friends, and any beloved woman-girl pair. Whether you're connected by blood, love, or community, you're welcome here. We’re meeting as an intergenerational circle of women and girls to celebrate the joy of singing together. We’ll be singing a variety of songs with harmony. This is a judgement-free space. No experience needed, just bring your voice and someone you love.
This group will meet on the second Sunday of the month.

Are you a musician in need of a band? Do you love to sing and need some back up? We are looking for you! Join Shea Ellis of Mountain Road Music to develop your own rock band. This camp is for experienced musicians including guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice or any instrument that can be translated to a rock band. Prospective campers will audition for their spot in the band. During this weeklong camp, musicians will work together to make a set list, practice chord progressions, lyric writing, and performance techniques. The band will play a concert on Friday.

Small Group Voice Lessons

Get personalized vocal coaching in a fun, supportive group of up to 10 singers! Each week we’ll focus on:

• Solid vocal technique (breath support, posture, tone, and healthy warm-ups)
• Expanding your range and improving pitch accuracy
• Dynamic expression, diction, and emotional delivery
• Building confidence through solo and group performance
• Learning new songs and harmonies tailored to the group You’ll receive direct feedback from the instructor plus helpful peer insights—perfect for beginners to intermediate singers who want faster progress in a motivating, collaborative environment.

Reach for the Stars Theater Camp with Broadway Actor Katie Sarno
Ages 8-15

Join Broadway veteran Katie Sarno for some drama fun! Campers will enjoy a wide range of creative activities focusing on monologues, small scenes, and musicals. Campers will learn various acting techniques, build confidence and practice self-expression all while working together for a small performance on Friday. Come use those creative juices and play with us.
