Camp Encore
Camp Encore! A Week of Singing, Dancing, Theater Games & Pure Creative Joy
July 13th - July 17th
Ages 8-15
 
 Led by Marissa Armitage, our amazing musical director from Peter Pan Jr. 
 
Step into a place where music bubbles up, imagination takes the lead, and every morning feels like opening night. Camp Encore! is a playful, high energy theater camp designed for kids who love to sing, dance, act, and create. With the ever-brilliant Marissa Armitage guiding the week, campers will explore rhythm, storytelling, character, and movement through a mix of joyful activities:
  • Lively singing sessions with kid-friendly songs
  • Dance and movement that feel more like play than practice
  • Whimsical theater games that spark imagination and confidence
On Friday, families are invited to a short, heart-warming performance, showcasing the songs, scenes, and moments the kids have created together. It’s sweet, spirited, and full of the kind of joy only a week of Camp Encore! can produce.
 

Art Camp - Let's Create! - Grades 1 & 2

Art Camp – Lets Create! - Incoming 1st & 2nd Graders

Ready, set, create! In Art Camp, artists will use a variety of materials to create masterpieces. We will explore 2D and 3D materials and use paint, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed-media techniques. An important part of being an artist is finding inspiration in the world around you, so artists will have time to be playful and enjoy being in a creative environment together. Artists will take home their finished pieces. This camp is for everyone who loves art!
Please bring, snacks and plenty to drink.

Camp Rock! - Incoming Grades 7-8

Camp Rock! With Shea Ellis of Mountain Road Music
Are you a musician in need of a band? Do you love to sing and need some back up? We are looking for you! Join Shea Ellis of Mountain Road Music to develop your own rock band. This camp is for experienced musicians including guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice or any instrument that can be translated to a rock band. Prospective campers will audition for their spot in the band. During this weeklong camp, musicians will work together to make a set list, practice chord progressions, lyric writing, and performance techniques. The band will play a concert on Friday.

REGISTRATION: Opens March 2nd
STARTS: August 10th
ENDS: August 14th
CAMP COST: $350.00 Resident / $400.00 Non-Resident
LOCATION: York High School Chorus Room
DAYS: Monday-Friday
TIME: 1:30pm-5:00pm
AUDITIONS: TBD if needed
