At York Parks and Recreation, community partners help turn good ideas into memorable experiences for families across York. Few partners show up for us as consistently as Williams & Co.
Their financial support strengthens our programs and events, but what truly stands out is the time, energy, and resources they give so freely. One of the most visible ways they help is by sharing their trolley, Wally. Thanks to Wally, we are able to run our popular Polar Express rides during the Festival of Lights and invite groups like the Green Team to join us for beach clean-ups. That single contribution makes these activities possible and more accessible for the community.
Williams & Co. is also a reliable presence at two of our favorite annual events. You will find them at the Festival of Frights every October and at the Festival of Lights each December, adding to the fun and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that makes these celebrations special.
